Where are you located?
Clé Privée Pte Ltd is a Singapore incorporated company. We are an online luxury retail monobrand platform. We are an independent entity and is not affiliated, associated, authorised, endorsed by or in any way officially connected with the brands listed on our website or Instagram. We do not run a physical store. We can provide virtual viewings by appointment only.
Why do you not have a store?
Traditional high-end luxury brands have historically considered a physical store to be their main distribution channel. Increasingly, these high-end luxury brands are moving online. Our experience shows that digital is increasingly influencing the purchasing decision of high-net-worth individuals. Citing a research by McKinsey found that a consumer online experience in some way influences at least 40 per cent of all luxury purchases^. That digital luxury consumer experience most often takes place through online research for a product, social media conversations, or by browsing a luxury brand’s website.
Clé Privée represents an external third-party, online distribution platform which is not officially connected to these high-end luxury brands.

Where can I see your products since you do not have a physical store?
Our official website (www.cleprivee.co) has a SHOP where you can find a curated collection of the physical inventory / merchandise available for sale.
For a more real-time update of new arrivals and virtual inventory, please go to our Instagram. Our merchandise had over the years, been featured and offered virtually on the phenomenally successful and popular IG platform, and we will continue to do so. We believe this experiential platform allows individuals in their own private spaces, at a time they desire, to explore the global luxury markets.
We feature new arrivals on IG almost weekly. As these merchandises we curate are extremely rare and difficult to find, often with long waiting lists, therefore our offerings or virtual inventory tends to be extremely fast-moving and fluid.
Are your merchandise authentic?
All merchandise sold by Clé Privée are 100% authentic. As a specialist of a monobrand platform since 2013, we dedicated ourselves to understanding the history of the brand, and key characteristics of the products the brand produces. We have an established network of trusted sources, and operate on a global supply chain. Our ability to source the latest products, also enable us to trace back to the store origin, if that piece of information provides additional comfort (regarding authenticity) to your purchase.
Can your bags be sent for a 3rd party authentication service on Buyer’s request?
ALL the bags featured on our website and IG are % authentic. It follows that the bag we sell are authentic.
Cle Privee does not provide authentication as a standalone service.
After purchase and collection of bag, if you wish to do any authentication you may freely do so. If the bag is found to be non-authentic, which have never been the case for any bags that Cle Privee had sold to a consumer, we will provide full refund immediately. This refund should provide adequate comfort to you.
Please note that we do not procure additional third-party authentication for you on bags we deem authentic, just to “prove ourselves”. This is the company policy which we cannot change even if a buyer puts a deposit. If we deem a bag to be non-authentic, it would not in the first place even be sold to anyone.

What are your operating hours?
Our operating hours are Monday to Friday from 10am to 6pm, and Saturdays from 10am to 3pm, Singapore time (GMT + 8 hrs). Please feel free to contact us outside of our regular business hours, however we cannot guarantee a reply until the next business day.
Where and how do you ship?
We ship worldwide with global courier companies like DHL and FedEx. These courier provide premium safe and expedited shipping service. All shipments are monitored closely with a tracking number. Estimated shipping time is up to 5 business days for most part of the world, baring unforeseen circumstances.

What modes of payments do you accept?
1) Bank funds transfer / wire – international or domestic bank wire to Cle Privee’s bank account in Singapore. Bank account details will be made available to you in the invoice issued following your confirmation to purchase.
We price in Singapore Dollars (SGD), unless otherwise specified.
Overseas buyers – can use their home currency to make this bank transfer such that we receive the amount in SGD.
Local buyers – can use any local bank transfer facilities.
Upon your confirmation to purchase, minimally a Deposit is required asap for us take the bag / item off the market, hence securing your purchase. We maintain that we will not be able to acknowledge your confirmation, regardless of circumstances, until your Deposit is received.
2) Credit cards – we accept payment using VISA MASTERCARD AMEX. This is facilitated by the secured payment / collection gateway of Airwallex, which is our financial services partner. Please note that there is an additional surcharge of 3.3% on every transaction amount for using credit cards that we regrettably are not able to waive.
A Deposit (typically about 15-20% of the purchase price for leather bags) is required on confirmation of your purchase. For Deposit policy on exotic bags, please send us an enquiry. Deposit can be done via the two options above.

Do you accept consignments?
Yes, we accept consignment or virtual consignment. Before we can share market prices for your consideration and comparison, we require the following details:

Do you buy out bags?
Yes, we do buy out bags selectively. However, sellers will be thoroughly screened before we make the purchase.
Do you trade/swap bags or allow trade-ins?
No, we do not trade/swap bags with you or facilitate any trade-ins.
Do you source specific items?
While we are a monobrand platform with a focus on Hermés handbags, we are also able to source other brands, as well as timepieces and jewellery, with a minimum market value of SGD10,000. You are required to provide us with your budget. Our prices quoted for sourcing of merchandise will be at a fair market value at the point of your request. Please contact us if you have a sourcing request.
Do you work with other vendors / resellers?
We work globally with a select group of experienced vendors, resellers, concierge companies, buyers of these authentic luxury merchandise. We constantly look to engage new business partners. For more information on selling to and through Clé Privée, please contact us.

Our presence in the market since 2013 has enabled us to build a broad-based clientele, which includes royalties, socialites, celebrities, concierge services companies, multibrand luxury retail platforms, and high net worth individuals.
Our reach is global, and our client relationships are extensive. These are testimonies to the commitment we place on the quality of our service and the authenticity of our offerings.
Can you elaborate on Sustainability?
Hermès’ environmental engagement is through the creation of Petit H. In 2010, the brand launched the Petit H division to give a second life to the leftover materials. It shows the willingness of the brand to move in the direction of a more sustainable model and represents the first step towards a circularity, with zero wastage production cycle. Petit H helps to improve the recycling loop, notably through its circular design creations. To decrease the negative impact to the environment during production, circular design is needed to better foresee and address the unintended consequences of normal design decision.
Cle Privee aims to foster an ecosystem culture to extend the life-cycle of luxury goods, essentially to increase utilisation and avoid having the brand’s products turn into waste. This helps in maintaining Sustainability in the luxury retail industry. The inherent longevity of Hermès in particular, supports a circular economy*. There is positive social impact as we strive
to build a regenerative system in which luxury goods can be redirected from the people who do not need these and reused by the people who want these.
